  • Involve material that Kanvie is obligated to assess under applicable rules

These reports also apply to posts are to be removed based on regulations that impose obligations (or evolving obligations) on online platforms to remove or moderate user-generated content. Examples for this are:

  3. Select ReportCritical illegal activity
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your report

  • Continue using standard reporting for all other types of inappropriate content.

How Kanvie Handles Critical Regulated Report

  1. Special reports are reviewed separately from standard community reports.
  2. Reports that may require regulatory action are processed more quickly.
  3. The identity of the reporting user is kept confidential; the reported party will not know who submitted the report.
  4. Full details of any follow-up cannot be shared due to legal and privacy obligations.

Law Enforcement Notice

After a successful review that confirms the report, Kanvie may be legally required to provide information to law enforcement or other authorities. This typically happens only when content or activity raises serious safety or legal concerns.
