Customizing Your Diary Categories
Your Kanvie diary helps you track everything that matters, from meals to workouts to body stats, and groups them all together into categories. While we provide default categories, you can customize them so your diary reflects your personal routine, whether you're a casual fitness enjoyer or a serious athlete.
How to Customize Your Diary Categories
- Go to the Me 👤 tab in the bottom navigation bar of your Kanvie app
- Go to Settings ⚙️
- Tap Diary
- Now you can tap to edit either your:
- Nutrition categories
- Body measurement categories
- Enable or disable categories to match your personal routine
- Your changes appear instantly in your diary
Nutrition Categories
By default, your food diary tracks:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Dinner
- Snacks
But life isn't always that simple! You can add or remove categories to match your daily eating habits. Available options include:

| Breakfast | Commonly first meal of the day |
| Second Breakfast | A small morning meal or coffee break |
| Lunch | Midday main meal |
| Dinner | Evening main meal |
| Snacks | Quick bites or mini-meals |
| Tea Time | Afternoon tea, coffee, or treats |
| Drinks | Smoothies, juices, or any beverages |
| Desserts | Sweet treats or after-dinner items |
| Supplements | Vitamins, protein powders, etc. |
| Pre-Workout | Food eaten before a workout for energy |
| Post-Workout | Recovery meals or shakes |
| Merienda | Snack between meals |
| Suhoor | Pre-dawn meal during fasting periods |
| Iftar | Evening meal to break a fast |
Body Measurement Categories
By default, your diary tracks:
- Activity: All your workouts and exercises
- Weight: Body weight entries
- Body Fat: Percentage of body fat
If you've connected Apple Health or Health Connect, Steps will also appear automatically by default.
Other optional metrics you can track:
