Customizing Your Diary Timeframe
Sometimes your day doesn't match the standard midnight-to-midnight schedule. Maybe you train late at night, work a night shift, or simply want your diary to start at a more convenient time. Kanvie lets you customize your 24-hour diary window so your meals, workouts, and body metrics align perfectly with your lifestyle.
How Customizing Your Timeframe Works
- Anchor your day: Pick the time your “diary day” begins.
- Automatic adjustment: The app shifts your diary view so that all entries are organized under the correct custom day.
- Full summaries still work: Daily totals like calories, workouts, and steps are calculated for your custom 24-hour window.
Example
- You set your day to start at 16:00 (4 PM) because you work late at night.
- Your breakfast at 16:30 (4:30 PM) counts toward the new day.
- Your snack before going to bed at 8:00 (8 AM) counts toward the previous diary day, not the current one.
How to Set Your Start Time
- Go to the Me 👤 tab in the bottom navigation bar of your Kanvie app
- Go to Settings ⚙️
- Tap Diary → Timeframe
- Select the start timestamp that matches your personal day
- Tap Save ☑️
