Tracking Your Body Fat Percentage

Body fat percentage is a key metric for understanding your body composition and monitoring progress toward fitness or health goals. Kanvie allows you to track body fat manually, or to automatically import it from Apple Health or Health Connect, including data from various smart scale manufacturers.


How Body Fat Tracking Works

  • You can add body fat measurements manually, directly in the app.
  • Multiple entries can be logged per day, so you can track changes throughout the day if needed.
  • Each entry is recorded in the Body Fat category of your diary and contributes to progress charts and summaries.

How to Log Body Fat

  1. Open your Diary đź“–
  2. Scroll to the Body Fat category
  3. Tap the + button next to the category
  4. Enter your measurement and optionally add a timestamp
  5. Save your entry

Importing from Apple Health or Health Connect

If you want to automatically receive body fat readings from your smart devices, Kanvie supports pairing with Apple Health and Health Connect. This lets you consolidate measurements from smart scales or other compatible devices without manual entry.
