Tracking Your Activity
Kanvie allows you to track both individual exercises and full workouts (which can contain multiple exercises). You can also import activity data from Apple Health or Health Connect.
What You Can Keep Track Of
You can log individual exercises and entire workouts to your diary.
Each item includes data such as:
- Duration (minutes, hours)
- Sets (including Repetitions and Weight used)
- Intensity (Low, Medium, High etc.)
- Speed (kmh / mph)
- Estimated calories burned
- Estimated muscle load
How to Track an Exercise
- Go to the Exercise you'd like to add to your diary
- Enter details like:
- Duration or sets & reps
- Optionally weight for each set
- The intensity or speed
- Tap Add to Diary
- Review the time of day for your entry
- Tap the Save button
The exercise will now appear in your daily activity history.
How to Track a Workout
- Go to the Workout you'd like to add to your diary
- Tap Add to Diary
- Review the intensity and duration or sets for each exercise
- Tap Continue
- Review the time of day for your entry
- Tap the Save button
The entire workout, including references to all of its exercises, will be added to the daily activity totals of your diary automatically.
Viewing Your Daily Summary in Your Diary
After logging exercises or workouts, go to your Diary 📖 to see:
- Total calories burned
- Your calorie budget for the day
- The load on each muscle for the day
- Logged exercise durations
- Workouts completed over time
Importing from Apple Health or Health Connect
If you prefer automatic tracking of your activity, Kanvie can pull workouts, exercise minutes, or calorie-burn directly from your device's fitness sources. This can be data from your smart exercise equipment, or other workout apps than Kanvie.
